As the Assistant Food and Beverage Warehouse Manager, you will support the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all food and beverage supplies are managed efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve overseeing inventory control, assisting with purchasing, and ensuring the seamless distribution of goods throughout the park. You’ll work closely with our Food and Beverage Manager to maintain high standards of quality and organization.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in Inventory Management: Track stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and manage inventory records to ensure availability of food and beverage supplies.
- Support Manual Purchasing: Process manual purchase orders, track order status, coordinate with vendors, and handle invoice verification and discrepancies.
- Oversee Receiving and Storage: Supervise the receipt of food and beverage shipments, verify quantities and quality, and ensure proper storage according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate Logistics: Facilitate the timely and accurate delivery of supplies to various park departments, and troubleshoot any logistical issues that arise.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules, and generate regular reports for management review.
- Assist in Forecasting Needs: Work with the Food and Beverage Manager to predict inventory requirements based on seasonal trends and park attendance.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and implement best practices for food and beverage storage and handling.
- Manage Team Interactions: Collaborate with park staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations and address any supply chain or operational challenges.
- Conduct Quality Control: Inspect food and beverage items for quality and safety before distribution to ensure they meet park standards.
- Optimize Warehouse Operations: Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for efficiency, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or a related role, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual purchasing processes and familiarity with warehouse management systems or basic inventory software.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, team members, and park staff.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining documentation.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to food and beverage handling and storage.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying and resolving issues related to inventory management, logistics, and supply chain.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing demands and schedules typical of a seasonal amusement park setting. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications related to warehouse management or food safety is a plus.
