Req ID18785Cedar Fair is seeking a Systems Engineer at our Knott's Berry Farm Location. The Systems Engineer performs a wide range of technical and project management duties associated with design, configuration, implementation, and support of networks systems and enterprise applications. This is a highly technical and professional position. Must have demonstrated expertise in project management and systems design, configuration, implementation, support. Acts as the resident expert in areas of responsibility, and collaborates and escalates with the enterprise team or external support partners.
Salary Details: $79,720- $99,650 per year. The base pay rate offered is based on job-related experience, knowledge and skills, among other factors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the implementation and support of network systems and enterprise applications. Monitor systems or applications utilization to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency. Identifies inadequate or inefficient system utilization and performance. Suggests and/or implements changes within the framework of established company best practices and standards.
- Creates, maintains, and updates systems documentation. Develops daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual audits, checklists and performs preventive measures.
- Troubleshoots and resolves network systems and enterprise application issues. Collaborates, communicates, and escalates issues with internal and external support partners, as needed. Acts as the primary point of contact for issues within the scope their responsibility. Identifies issue root cause, recommends and implements approved changes.

- Communicate effectively with diverse teams across the company, internal divisions and external vendors on support updates, and project planning.
- Oversees assigned technical projects. Plans, executes, and monitors assigned projects to ensure on-time, within scope, and within budget completion. Communicates project status to appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other park and enterprise engineers, system administrators, software developers, users and management to identify and implement solutions ensuring optimal systems compatibility, reliability and efficiency that are consistent with enterprise standards.
- Provide engineering support to the IT teams at all of our other parks
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree / vocational or technical school required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4-6 years’ work-related experience required.
- Microsoft Technologies to include Active Directory, SQL, Client/Server, GPO, PowerShell, Office 365
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
