Seasonal HVAC Mechanic

Carowinds is looking for HVAC Mechanics to assist in installing, repairing and maintaining all HVAC & Refrigerator equipment, including food service equipment.

• Assist in installing (placement, wiring, hanging, positioning, connecting, inspection testing, replacing) HVAC&R and food service equipment, according to manufacturer and Carowinds standards.
• Maintain, inspect, evaluate equipment for proper function and take appropriate action according to manufacturer and Carowinds specifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions using schematics, blue prints, and test equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (planned interval inspections).
• Maintain lubrication schedules (grease, oil, etc).

• You!
• Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of electrical field and tools required.
• One year experience in HVAC & Refrigeration or technical school equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics and blue prints.
• Should have working knowledge of the electrical field and good knowledge of the N.E.C.
• Valid driver's license.
