Specialist Assistant POS

Cedar Fair is seeking a Specialist Assistant POS at our corporate office in Charlotte, NC. The Specialist Assistant POS is responsible for the enterprise point-of-sale support. The Specialist will support current and future offerings in retail and/or food and beverage across all Cedar Fair locations. This position is primarily responsible for end-to-end product setup and SKU management. 

• Build and maintain Point of Sale systems and other business-related applications.
• Provide POS application support to all associates across Cedar Fair properties.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams across the company, internal divisions on support updates, and project planning.
• Perform data validation against test and production POS systems.
• Develop and deliver progress reports and documentation related to each project.
• Train associates using the point-of-sale systems on how to troubleshoot and report operational issues.
• Recommend point of sale enhancements to increase operational effectiveness.

• Associate's degree, vocational or tecnical school required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.     

• 6-8 years work-related experience required.

• Experience installing POS systems and/or other hardware/software deployments.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
