Responsibilities:
Marketing
Video Content Producer
- In this role, you will work directly with our park Marketing team to create video content for events, social media, in-park displays and much more! This is an awesome opportunity to display your creativity to millions of Kings Island guests each year.
Social Media Coordinator
- In this role, you will assist in the development and creation of engaging and creative media content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and SnapChat. You will also work to create blog posts, newsletters and campaigns to market Kings Island to the general public
Group Sales Call Center
- In this role, you will fielding incoming calls and inputting reservations into our ticketing and catering systems, processing payments for group ticket programs, assisting with incremental sales to include catered meals, drink wristbands, parking, and other add-ons, contacting leads that have been submitted to Kings Island Group Sales, and providing support for Guest Services Call Center as needed.
Group Sales Event Coordinator
- In this role, you will work directly with the Group Sales Department on the booking and execution of the Corporate, Youth and Small Group catered and non-catered events. This includes working as a liaison with both internal and external partners on the booking and execution of group sales business.
Strategic Marketing Alliance
- In this role, you will work closely with the Strategic Alliances team, directly with corporate partners and our parks to fulfill and exceed the clients’ expectations. You will oversee the trafficking of all digital content to our parks and will manage multiple digital playlists, receive and schedule all advertising spots, and monitor campaign performance for our clients
Human Resources
Recruiting Specialist
- In this role, you will be responsible for hiring all of the seasonal staff at Kings Island by managing the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle to include sourcing, screening, selection, offer and onboarding. This position is vital in demonstrating our employer brand to prospective applicants and representing the company in hiring decisions.
Onboarding Specialist
- In this role, you will execute new hire onboarding for over 3,500 associates and 2,000 returning associates! This includes ensuring each applicant is ready for their first day of work, completing I9 requirements and remaining compliant with all federal, state and local laws.
Training Specialist
- In this role, you will lead and manage new hire orientation, leadership courses, and many other corporate driven learning courses. This is a great opportunity to become comfortable speaking in front of large groups of Kings Island associates.
Associate Experience
- In this role, you will lead the organization and coordination of employee activities and events, as well as any support needed during the activities or events. This includes maintaining relationships between departments, communicating upcoming events, and managing any issues that arise.
Employee Relations
- The Employee Relations Intern Co-Op maintains effective relations by providing day to day support to employees and supervision on employee relations issues, including workplace accommodations. This position also works with management regarding policy interpretation and disciplinary action on behalf of the company in a manner consistent with Company policies, Cornerstones, Core Values, and all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
HRIS
- The HRIS intern will assist the HR Manager with the management and maintenance of the HR Information Systems including the HCM, ATS, Time & Attendance System, and wardrobe issuance system. This includes data entry, running reports, troubleshooting system, data imports, etc.
Food & Beverage
Culinary
- In this role, you will spend time working in one of the many restaurants located across the park leading a team of line cooks and learning from industry experts. This is a great opportunity to focus on a specific area like catering, pastry or executing high end dishes for one of Kings Island’s many events.
Food Safety Auditor
- In this role, you will have the responsibility of completing inspections on all food locations and be able to complete a report along with a corrective action plan as well as assisting with instructing divisional training classes.
Operations
- In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a Food and Beverage area which includes training, directing and motivating associates. You will also maintain appropriate cost and labor levels by continuously evaluating and adjusting to business needs, completing frequent inventory, and stocking of products, maintain cleanliness of work location, guest service focus and additional duties assigned by management.
Catering Events
- In this role, you will assist in the execution of corporate picnics and events in the Picnic Grove or International Restaurant. This is to include communication between Food & Beverage and Marketing to establish menus, group sizes, set-up and execution.
Merchandise & Games
Procurement
- In this role, you will be responsible for Daily Reporting for reorders to Vendors, Daily Reporting for reorders to the Retail locations, Product Allocations, Weekly Reporting for retail location reorders, and Assist the Buyer with creating PO’s and Product in the Data works system.
Supply Chain
- In this role, responsible for pulling orders, assisting with loading, and unloading deliveries, inventory management, receiving, labeling, storing, delivering, and organizing warehouse inventory
Retail Management
- In this role, you will gain experience in leadership, scheduling, time management, product fulfillment, visual merchandising, associate motivation, and team development. Previous retail experience is required for the position.
Training and Development
- In this role, you will gain experience in Associate development, public speaking, leadership, conflict resolution, scheduling, time management and associate recognition. Previous retail experience is required for this position.
Finance & Accounting
IT Technician
- In this role, you will provide support to users and be the first point of contact to the department teams. You will answer the help desk line to assist end users with questions and problems related to hardware, software, POS (Point of Sale) equipment, and network-related inquiries.
Revenue Audit
- In this role, you will conduct audits on locations and associates using several methods designed to assist in the training of associates and aid in discovering specific problems with associates or the cash handling policies and bring to the attention of management.
Shared Accounting Services
- The SAS Associate is part of a team responsible for ensuring functions of Revenue Accounting are completed timely, consistently, and accurately.
Workforce Management
Industrial Engineer (Business Analytics)
- In this role, you will be assisting the Workforce Manager with data analytics projects for all the park divisions utilizing data from our Timekeeping and Attendance system.
Scheduling Specialist
- In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling divisional departments for their shifts. This includes managing time off requests, availability, and carpools to ensure schedules are posted accurately and on time.
Safety & Security
Security Associate
- In this role, you will work in a variety of positions across the park to include patrol, theme park and metal detection. This position is ideal for anyone wanting to get their foot in the door for criminal justice!
Safety Specialist
- In this role, you will investigate incidents that occur at the park, conduct monthly safety inspections, and follow up with guests or associates as needed.
Loss Prevention
- In this role, you will conduct audits on locations and associates using several methods designed to assist in the training of associates and aid in discovering specific problems with associates or the cash handling policies and bring to the attention of management.
Guest Services
- In this role, you will work in our communications center, aiding guests in our Guest Services Office, leading VIP Tours of the park, and being a Guest Experience Advocate for the park. This is a great opportunity to finetune conflict resolution and ensure Kings Island guests leave with anawesome experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
