Ride Mechanic, Seasonal

Earn $27.00/hr.  

Joining our California’s Great America team means you’ll keep by ensuring ride maintenance safety of our employees and guests.

You’ll also…

• Perform visual inspection of equipment and safely operate all equipment.
• Complete department paperwork, including ride logs, preventive maintenance sheets, and other routine reports.
• Work under time constraints in order to properly respond to ride concerns and ensure the safety of employees and guests.
• Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Read and understand documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, training materials, chemical labels, and material safety data sheets.
• Have additional opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferably at least 1-2 years of Maintenance/Technical experience.
• Candidates must be available to work on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday. 
• We’re looking for candidates who have FULL AVAILABILITY meaning they’re able to work opening and/or closing shifts.
• **Ideally looking for candidates available to work 8 hr. shifts.
• This is a seasonal position, and we’re looking for candidates who can work a minimum of 3 months.
