Cedar Fair parks operate seasonally on schedules that match the regional travel patterns of our guests. Therefore, we need more staff during busy travel times such as summer months, weekends, and holiday seasons. The only exception is Knott’s Berry Farm, which operates year round.
Many of our positions do not require a resume to apply.
We want to provide as many options as possible to make it easy for you to apply. You can choose to apply with a New Resume/CV or with a social media profile such as LinkedIn or Facebook. The application will pull information from these sources for you to review for accuracy. You can also opt to complete the application without using either of these functions.
Absolutely! You can choose to save your application at any point by clicking the “Save for Later” option at the bottom of the online application.
You will be asked to create a username and password at the beginning of the application process. You will use this information to log back in to complete your application, as well as to monitor the status of your application. We recommend storing your username and password in a safe place for easy access.
You can log back in at any time to view your “applicant dashboard” which will indicate that your application has been received.
If the job you seek is not currently available, you can save your search settings as a “Job Agent.” Setting up a Job Agent will allow us to send you an email every time a new opening matches your search criteria.
Upon applying, your application is directed to the hiring team. They will review your application as quickly as possible. You can always check the status of your application by logging in to your applicant dashboard.
For seasonal positions, it is most common to expect a phone interview and video or in-person interview. However, some positions or applicants may require additional follow-up interviews. All leadership and year-round positions require an initial phone interview and a number of in-person interviews.
Yes! You can enjoy free use of all rides and attractions in your “off” time by presenting your Associate ID at any Admission Entrance. Associates must be off duty, and out of uniform, when enjoying rides or attractions.
Yes! When visiting another Cedar Fair location, you can use your Associate ID to be admitted to the park. Depending on the park, you may first have to stop at Guest Services (located at the front gate) to get a ticket with your Associate ID. Free admission is not available to Castaway Bay in Sandusky, Ohio
Work shifts vary by job and by park operating schedules/seasons. Some shifts can be as short as 4 hours, while some parks offer shifts as long as 12 hours.
We can be very flexible with our opportunities. You can choose to join us in Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter or all year long. You can work weekdays, weekends or both – with as many or as few hours as you want. Let us know how we can meet your needs for a fun job that you will love!
Associates are paid bi-weekly.
Yes! Associates have the option of direct deposit of pay to most banks. If you do not currently have a bank account, you will provided with a Paycard (where available.)
It depends on the park. Low-cost, on-site housing is available for associates at Carowinds, Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, Kings Island or Valleyfair. Must be at least age 18 and max age restrictions vary by park. Contact the local park Human Resources team for more information.

We may conducting video, phone, web or in-person interviews. Once an application has been submitted, our recruiting team will reach out by text, email or phone with information on next steps.
The next steps of the hiring process may be done ‘virtually’.
1. Online forms to complete will be provided after offer acceptance. Check your email for this information.
2. Processing is scheduled by our HR team to review online forms. This can be done by web video call.
3. Paid orientation will be scheduled after processing is completed. This may be online using a virtual platform, like Zoom. You will receive an email with an orientation invitation.
Job specific training or park preparation work will be scheduled by the hiring departments. This is typically in park and a set date will be communicated when available.
