Overview:

$23 / hour

Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years.

You’ll also…

  • Monitor guest and employee activities for unlawful/illegal acts and attend court as required
  • Monitor surveillance systems
  • Investigate incidents
  • Liaise with other departments to collect and investigate documents related to an incident
  • Photograph/videotape and collect information pertaining to an incident
  • Work in conjunction with the Safety Department on reported incidents
  • Work with Loss Prevention Management on investigations
  • Complete reports and follow-up in a timely manner as required
  • Documentation/filing as required
  • Prepare an incident review to Loss Prevention Management
  • Use park computers and programs to input data
  • Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in or graduate of a post-secondary Law Enforcement program or possess equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Present a professional manner and positive attitude
  • Candidates must be able to work under stressful conditions while remining calm and patient
  • Available to work a flexible hours, including late evenings and  weekends
  • Must be able to adapt to working in a team environment
  • Must have reliable transportation to the park
  • Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license, driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certificates
  • Previous park experience and knowledge of cash systems is an asset
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
  • Supervisory experience is an asset
  • Must provide own CSA approved steel toed black boots
