Shift/Schedule Requirements:Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
ONSITE (Non-Remote Work)
Identify labor needs for the park and ensure the efficient utilization of the workforce to maximize the guest experience while driving profitability.
This role will lead the implementation of Kronos for the park and serve as the on-going systems owner and subject matter expert. This position will create value for the company by forecasting and identifying staffing needs alongside working with the recruiting team. Weekly reports on business metrics will be required to ensure appropriate staffing requirements are met for the park.

Responsibilities:
- Work with park management teams to ensure the park is maximizing guest service and profitability through the efficient use of labor.
- Oversee labor scheduling processes and provide cross functional support to other departmental managers in the areas of forecasting and reporting. Provide recommendations for improvements based upon reports.
- Monitor productivity of labor force utilizing the WFM system, reporting, and dashboards and provide feedback to operating divisions and General Manager on where over scheduling as well under scheduling is occurring.
- Analyze historical trends and future projections to create forecasting, scheduling, and staffing plans.
- Work with management teams to oversee workforce optimization programs to ensure innovation and standardization of best practices across all divisions.
- Serve as the WFM system owner, working with the vendor and Corporate Director of WFM on system issues and upgrades.
- Define key metrics to provide managers a solid understanding of business performance. Establish reporting methods around key metrics related to WFM.
- Stays current on internal work processes, policies, and procedures and identifies recurring problems around them; contributes ideas on ways to resolve problems.
- Analyze and manage associate training and certifications to ensure the workforce is placed in the appropriate positions.
- Work with internal audit, HR, and management teams to identify opportunities around regulatory and company policies and work with management team to take necessary corrective actions.
- Work with HR to ensure accuracy of staffing needs and anticipated turnover.

Qualifications:
- Advanced MS Office skills, including building and creating Excel Spreadsheets and writing formulas.
- Comfortable presenting in a group setting.
- Provide guest service according to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Six Flags Entertainment Corporation attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags Entertainment Corporation attendance policies.
- 1+ years of experience with scheduling functions in a WFM system (UKG preferred
- 1+ years of experience in WFM reporting, analytics and support of a Time & Attendance system
- 1+ years of experience with scheduling compliance rules and regulations.
- Familiar with MS Access table maintenance and query design.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently sit, repetitive hand motion (such as typing) hear, listen, communicate, walk, stand, bend, climb stairs/ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, handle, finger, grasp, lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occsionally stoop, twisting movements of torso, crouch/squat, crawl, kneel, balance, reach overhead, lift up to 30 pounds
- Subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
- Subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
